Equipment: Epiphone Firebird, Standard stratocastor, washburn “AXXESS” 4 string bass,

Laguna le322, Oscar Schmidt classical guitar, and an antique Stella brand steel string acoustic for slide blues.

Roland micro cube, and Vox AC30 CC1 (with Jenson MOD 12-70 speaker) for amplifiers.

Currently using NCH Mixpad Multitrack for DAW with Apex775 and AKG microphones.

Able to compose and record original instrumental music on the spot, in the genres of Metal, Neo-classical, acoustic and electric blues, renascence/medieval folk, Featuring stellar classic and modern Rock/Metal guitar tones. Currently there is no drum set on site, however there is a vast library of prerecorded studio quality drum samples including Beta MonkeyDB7. And other percussion samples. Click tracks are generated via NCH tempo perfect metronome.

Jesse’s rhythm chops are exceptional and although he does not play finger style at an expert level, he is capable of playing extremely difficult phrases flat-pick style, including simultaneous bass line and melody which is rare for a flat picker. Jesse is also very good at improvised rock and blues solos, is comfortable and familiar improvising and composing in a number of musical scales (over 40 scales and modes memorized) both common and exotic.

Although very proficient at rock and metal solos Jesse is more of a feel player than a supper fast shredder, your not going to hear much Eddie Van Halen or Yngie Malmsteen influence. Being mostly self taught there are some gaps is Jesse's knowledge the only jazz Jesse is familiar with is dixieland. Jesse is open to working on country and western but it is not one of his strong suits. Jesse is familiar with the basic mechanics of written music and can work out sheet music for simple pieces, however he is not able to site read on the spot. And his musical literacy is nowhere near the level of his ability to learn and play by ear.

Jesse has a fairly vast library of original instrumental music that would certainly be ideal for film, live plays or performance art projects, animation/cartoons. Commercial jingles, video games, radio, and just good old fashioned listening enjoyment. As well Jesse can make original music from scratch even to a per-scripted time line.

In a perfect world Jesse could focus on strictly his original music and certainly never runs out of ideas to work on. But it reality most musicians have to have an eclectic source of income to pay the bills. Until they “get a big break” as they say. So Jesse is also open to work with you if you need guitar added to an already existing recording. Just $25 an hour Monday to Wednesday and Friday 9am-5pm.
